half a century

its my Nana and Pops 50th wedding anniversary next week....romantic much! and i had the lovely task of going through all their old photo albums, im making them a hard cover book documenting the last 50 years of them being together. was super cute, bought a tear to my eye - romance isn't what it used to be. photos aren't what they used to be either. don't get me wrong i love that we can take millions of photos that are accessible every moment of the day, that you know you won't lose if the house burns down. but looking at the treasured few photos that my nana and pop took through the beginning and the photos of their children (my mum included) you know they are much more special than the photos we take today, no awkward leans back then! they are so lucky to have them and your lucky that i'm sharing them! soooo beautiful
